your july calendar

Hi friends! How are you? I had an amazing long weekend in Paris and will try to put together a post later this week or next week about it. The best part is that summer has just started! What are your plans for this summer? July is going to be a great month for me. I get a few weeks off from work and will spend some time out at our summer place. I also head off to Milan in a few weeks to visit a friend! Can't wait! Hope to post often but I feel the need to get some away time from my computer so i will not be posting everyday. Just a little heads up. I promise i will be here when I can. 

Well since July is going to be such a great month I love to be able to share with you our July calendar! I think this one is my favorite so far! Thank you Josefina, love it! So for July let's head out to sea! Ship Ahoy!

glad (happy) midsommar

 

 
Today is Midsommarafton in Sweden. A day we celebrate with food, dance and flowers. I wanted to wish everyone a happy midsommar. Mine will be different since I am in Paris. Who knows what the day will bring! Anyhow, I thought I would share with you some cool make-up photos by Joanna McClure in celebration of the day since yellow and blue are the colors of the Swedish flag. off to paris!

 

  

We leave for Paris today! I have a feeling that it might end up being an expensive few days but most of all wonderful few days! I just finished packing and can't wait to leave for the airport. But before I do... How lovely are the booties by House of Harlow 1960? I have been eyeing them for a while, I think I need them now. And I love the little feathers in Alix's of the cherry blossom girl hair. So pretty!

I had such a bad day yesterday. I was pushed a little to hard and it made the entire day very ruff and the mood has spilled over and taken over this beautiful day as well. I have tried to snap out of it but the energy is still stuck inside me. Is it not frustrating how your energy can be effected in this manner? How a person can push you into a mood? I don't like myself when I am in a bad mood. I don't like when bad energy gets the best of me. So I wish I could just stand under a waterfall and let it wash away and just feel happiness.
