Happy Friday! Today I'm thrilled to share with you my friend and colleague, Cecilia Eklund Malmborg's, home. Cecilia (an excellent Art Director) lives together with her husband Michael Malmborg (an amazing furniture designer) and their 2 beautiful children in Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm. They are featured in issue 4 of Residence Magazine. Cecilia just sent me the photos so I could share them with you. Believe me, this is a treat. Do you agree? Amazing, no? I love all the white with hints (and splashes) of color, the birch trees, the perfect mix of rustic and old with new and modern. I also love how you can see that both their backgrounds are reflected throughout their home. Did you pay attention to all the amazing lamps? wedding wednesday: setting the table

So our invites are out and now my focus has shifted to (the dress) as well as the decor. Our wedding planner has asked me to put together some mood boards and first up is how I would like to set the table. The feeling we are looking for is breezy. Simple tables with lots of candles and white flowers. We also want to include elements of wood, white fabric and burlap. I feel the above photos illustrate the feeling we are looking for quite well. I am getting super excited.

bugs & a butterfly

 

This beautifully styled photo by Annika of Flex Inredning reminds me so much of a school project I did way back when at the School of Visual Arts in New York when I went there. I am going to try to find it somewhere in one of my boxes and show you sometime (hopefully). Anyhow the Annika's photo is part of a course being offered at Beckmans. Check out all the stunning photos from the class here. I wish I was taking this course!
