Ok so I sort of stopped with my Wedding Wednesday posts early summer because I lost a little inspiration. You see I had my heart set on a destination wedding (still do). I had my heart set on having our wedding in Mykonos, Greece in this amazing villa. I had even marked it on our black board wall. But after putting together the budget we ended up at about 45 000 Euro (60 000 USD) and that was just out of the questions. And since I had been dreaming of having our wedding at the Eurydice Villa for about 2 years I got sidetracked and had a hard time finding other ideas and solutions.
Anyhow, I am inspired again and I have a few ideas that I am working on but I do not want to share to much at this point. So from now on I will be doing Wedding Wednesday posts when I feel like it. I do not want to feel that I have to have one ready every or every other wednesday. I will share with you when something has inspired me.
A destination wedding is still our goal. I truly loved Erin of Apartment 34's guest post on destinations weddings. Lots of good advice to keep in mind. So even if we will not be having our big day in this gorgeous villa in Mykonos we will have an amazing day somewhere...
And since I need to stay at Villa Eurydice at some point we will just have to have a vacation to Mykonos sometime in the future... preferably near future.
Have a look at all the gorgeous photos of Villa Eurydice and Villa Orpheus here.
I can see why you would want to have your wedding here, the surrounds are simply stunning! I would love to visit Greece someday too, hopefully not too far off. Thank you for the dreamy escape xx

Just when I was so sure I wanted to get married in Ireland, this post is causing me to waver. Greece is stunning. The simplicity but boldness of the scenery would be a perfect backdrop to your wedding. Even if it can't be the place you have your wedding, it could be a honeymoon or an anniversary trip, right?

Oh, well, you know, the wedding is only one day in a man's life... I know it sounds a little weird but i Iwould have to get married again I wouldn't make all that fuss about it (there are loads of better ways to spend your money too, kids and houses for instance ;-) (but it's also true that, living in Rome, I already have a destination wedding at my front door... - anyway, if you wan't to get married here in Itay I'm willing to give you a hand :-)
