Hope you had a lovely long weekend! Our Christmas was so nice. I really needed a few days away from the computer just with family.
I have been drooling over the Leica M7 Hermés edition for a while. But I am just going to have to keep dreaming since my budget can't fit this beauty. My Nikon D300 is a good camera but I just don't use it enough since it weighs a lot and is big to shlug around (along with baby and all his stuff). So I have been looking into smaller cameras. Do any of my lovely readers have any suggestions? Anyone have a Fuji x100? Or Lumix GF3? What do you have? Anna just told me that I can use my Nikon lenses on the GF3 and that is kind of great since I have a few favorites. Would love any and all camera suggestions! 2012 is going to be a year filled with photos (and my bday is coming up so I want to send some subtle hints to my boyfriend).
xx- Joanna

my bro has a fujifilm x100. it's pretty cool and takes nice shots. Love the sharpness. but only it can't zoom. i borrowed it for a wedding, and even the pro photographers were fascinated by it. and it's quite affordable comparing to Leica. :)

We've just recently bought a canon g12. You can do almost everything you can with a dslr( except change lenses) & it's much smaller than lugging a big gun around. Takes great photos even in lowlight. Also have a snappy lumix which takes great photos but much more automatic. Hope that helps?!
