I worked my ass off (literally) before leaving for Mallorca to get married so once there I really enjoyed every little thing I put into my mouth. We were spoiled with good food at both restaurants and by friends whom cooked for amazing meals for us (so now I have to work my ass off again). To prolong the yummy tastes of Mallorca we brought some olive oil, wine and salt with us back home. I cannot wait to sit down outside together with my hubby as we share a bottle of Verán and dip some sourdough bread bread in Olei oil with a sprinkle of Olivas Negras salt on top. My mouth is watering now.

We are actually in Mallorca at the moment so I thought I would add an entry to my Mallorca, Spain guide. We are getting married on Mallorca (in about 2 months!!) so we headed down so that we could test the menu and get some other planning done. Son Gener (above) is one of the places that I had my eye on for our wedding. But sorry to say they do not host weddings. We might just have to spend a few nights here after the wedding. Wahhh... ok so all the wedding planning lists tell me that I should have tried on and ordered my dress by now. You see today is exactly 22 weeks until we get married. I have not tried on a dress. I have hardly looked. But when I was in Palma Mallorca this past fall I did have a look at the amazing dresses (the shop is stunning) by Cortana. The dresses are beautiful beyond.

Today I want to share a second hotel that will be part of my guide to Mallorca, Spain. And how stunning is this hotel?
Jesper and I stayed at Hospes Maricel and loved it. The pool is one of the most beautiful I have seen. We had bad luck with the weather during our stay but that did not stop us from having a nice time. When it stormed the waves would break against edge of the patio and pool. It looked magical, almost like a geyser. The spa (below) was divine. Happy weekend! xx - Joanna
